Currently the Jobs module is wholly insufficient as a project planning tool. We have to use alternate tools to actually manage the project. For example, we use Smartsheet to manage projects in conjunction with the Jobs module.

The Job Task Lines/Planning line structure is very cumbersome to use and one cannot easily enter in a project plan like one can in a traditional project management tool. Further, key fields such as Starting/End Dates, Durations, Predecesers are missing. There is no Gantt Chart. There is no notificaiton or workflow functionality of note. This makes is very difficult to compete against other ERP systems that have a more robust Project Planning module.
