There is a bug currently in Inventory Analysis Views. When selecting Budget Filters - no drill-down is working. The data that is shown despite of selecting Budgets or Actuals is only Actual Inventory data, clubbed up through Analysis View entries and underlying from Item Ledger entries. There are Purchase Analysis Views and Sales Analysis Views, where this is working, but not for Inventory Analysis Views. The benefit in one generic representation of Inventory Analysis Views is that then both comparisons of Budget (to Sales and to Purchase) can be achieved holistically. To Have Purchase Budgets\ Sales Budgets within the Budget filter, thereby, user can look what is the Quantity against what is their Purchase Budget. Similarly to have insights on what is the quantity shipped against what is their sales Budget.
To achieve that we suggest:
1) Instead of field “include budget” in the list of Inv. Analysis Views, to have option: Purchase Budget or Sales Budget (that has page to insert the data); and also to introduce that control in the page of Inv. Analysis View to be directly selectable by the user;
2) In the Budget selection – to follow the parameter from previous control and filter to either Sales or Purchase Budgets.
