It is currently not possible to create a new note from a sub-grid. I raised a support ticket and was told this wasn't possible by design. With UI, notes have become more useful and I want to add a sub-grid specifically for notes to several forms to support our teams.
I am able to add the notes sub-grid to the forms. The '+New Note' option is displayed on the sub-grid. But when you click '+ Add Note' the Note form it presents can't be modified. So the '+New Note' is not actually an option from the sub-grid, even though it implies it can be done.
I understand we have the ability to create & view notes from the timeline, but timeline is not a quick and easy way to view activities & notes. For activities, we already add sub-grids to forms so we can present our key data easily and quickly for our users.
I am requesting the ability to add notes from a sub-grid so we can do the same with Notes. Thanks!
