As of today you can set what is possible to do with a Sales order when status is obsolete (e.g. Blocked, Warning). Because of this though, if set to blocked, it is impossible to delete open sales order lines with an obsolete item. If set to enabled we would let obsolete items be sold, which is absolutely forbidden.
In business, when an item turns to status obsolete, we generally have to be quick to stop selling it because there is no more of it in stock.
The setup today is as follows: Process: Sales order, Process area: Sales, Policy: Blocked
We would like another step in Product lifecycle state setup called "action" that, if applied, is of higher order than policies with no action. For example:
Process: Sales order, Process area: Sales, Action: Delete; Policy: Enabled

Dear Beatriz or other PM at MS,It seems you've actually fixed this! When you choose Refresh processes in Product lifecycle states there's now two options on status Obsolete:Sales order Sales order creationWe have run tests with Sales order enabled and Sales order creation disabled and it seems to solve above problem! We'd be delighted to get your comment on this if possible!Best regards,Johan Lindbom
