Currently the only option to do a tenant to tenant migration from different localizations (US-Canada- WEU....) is through the use of configuration packages.
There is no complete and detailed documentation on how to work with configuration packages, if you follow the available documentation you will find multiple errors related to conflicts with unique id fields from the tenant where you originated the configuration package.
Users find that the process is completely unacceptable on how inconvenient this process is since they have to manually set the fields per each table to be included on the configuration package and to do a migration they have to work on about 50 tables with a huge amount of fields each that they need to edit.
Users state Microsoft should have a tool within BC that allows an end user or consultant to copy an entire company from one production environment to another production environment.
