So we use BOM items so when we place a Sales order a Assembly order get created.

And it would be great if we can have the same function on a Transfer Order.

Example we have lots of consignment location. And they sell our BOM items.

But when we do a Transfer Order we need do an inventory journal to make sure we have stock

(Negative for compinents positive for the BOm item) before we can release the order and send a pick to the warehouse.

So why not just do the same as for Sales Order. Whe we create an line that are a BOM item. An assembly order will be created in the background

Pick will be created and the warehouse can pick the order. When we post the Transfer shipment, the assembly order will be posted (the same way as it does on the sales Order)
