Since the ability to choose inventory Pick as an option for Production Consumption the inventory pick now needs to the ability to recognize the Ship and Receive bins on the location setup and treat them as dedicated bins in the code like is done for a warehouse pick. The inventory pick is not useable for customers setup for Warehouse picks for Sales Documents and has inventory in the receive bin without a put-away (using put-away work sheet for example).
The inventory pick should have the same logic as the warehouse pick related to the ship and receive bin handling.
MSFT has acknowledged this is an issue now but they do not have a plan to change it at this time.(TrackingID#2603040010001465)

Additional Note - the check would only be added where the location was:Bin Mandatory = TrueRequire Pick = TrueRequire Ship = TrueBased on this the environment requires a warehouse pick which looks for the ship and receive bin and treats them as Dedicated.(this is the functionality that changed and you can set to Warehouse Ship (optional) or Inventory Pick for production consumptions).And / Or Potentially:Require Put Away = TrueRequire Receive = TrueBased on this the environment requires a warehouse receipt and put-away which looks for receive bin and treats it as Dedicated.
