A client of us (an hospital in Holland) whishes to have two new date fields (begindate and enddate) to become available in the table Vendor Invoice Discount (24) table.They want to use these date fields so they can better monitor when of their supplier changes suddenly has decided to change the ordercosts of articles.

The situation that suppliers of an hospital suddendly decide to change the price of an article happens quite often. If the hospital do not act quickly enough on the new situation the hospital runs the risk of getting charged with unnecessary extra order costs. This costs can be quite substantial.
