We are missing a functionality where an alert or e-mail notification is sent to a project resource when they are booked on a project.
In addition, it would be great if project resources (e.g. a consultant or developer) could view their bookings, either via an integration to Outlook or in a list page such as "My Projects" or equivalent.

Agree with this request and will be very useful.

This functionality is asked about every time we discuss project management in the solution. This would be a huge step in the right direction to incorporate an integration with Outlook or a notification that could be used to add to a calendar similar to a meeting invite.

I vote for this functionality. From a project management perspective, notifying resources when they are assigned to a project tasks will be a huge help.
