When creating a new purchase order, be able to select a production order to link a line to. Can do this with a job number and can do this for outsourcing, but not for a basic purchase order. Clients want to be able to link and consolidate costs and items.

Have you tested reservations on the component's item card for this need? If reservations are setup right then this may not be needed. I have seen other add-ons that tie PO's to PRO's to connect the costs so there might be a gap in the reservations functionality that doesn't fully meet this need.
