This inconsistency makes migration projects harder, as users struggle to understand how fields map between systems. We recommend Microsoft standardize and update these names in D365 to align more clearly, reducing confusion and improving usability during migrations.

• In theory, Price Unit is the standard price quantity. In AX-2012, it is named directly as Price Unit and there is also another separated field named Price Qty. But in D365, Price Unit has converted the name entirely to Price Quantity.
