The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Enterprise back office task recorder provides for a great user experience when it comes to project implementation, and new employee adoption and familiarisation of business processes.

The task recording features available in the back office of D365O provide a more intelligent and guided experience to what is available in the D365O POS/mPOS application.

It would be extremely beneficial from a Store rollout perspective to have not only the feature to play the recordings back as a guide, guiding the operator through the process as they create transactions for example, but also provide the ability to save such recordings to 'Life Cycle Services' to further enhance the Business Process Modeler providing a full library of training documentation.

Currently non of the above are available on the POS/mPOS application.

Thanks for your feedback. This is a great suggestion. We have added this to our backlog to be considered in a future release. - Holly Haines, Principal Program Manager - Dynamics 365 for Retail.

Great idea. POS has lagged behind finance and operations in areas such as this for some time. Customer experiences will be so much richer if the same tools can be adopted across both.

Great idea.  Would certainly help with skills fade, and shop floor staff on-boarding in what it traditionally an industry with high staff turnover

This suggestion would really help Dynamics have a consistent approach for documentation in Dynamics 365 and the mPOS solution.  Larger retail organisations will require a documented process, with training materials to support roll out.
Task recorder is also required for LCS updates, not having this in the mPOS solution also leaves a gap in this area.

Excellent recommendation to support what is already a great product
