in the module ECM in form "engineering change order/product details" you can create new boms and routes or change existing boms and routes for an engineering item.

However it is not possible to copy an existing route to an item - I can only create a new route. I would like to use a similar "copy" function in the route submenu as in the "bill of material" submenu.

Use case: an engineering product needs a new bill of material - the route however is pretty much the same as from a different released product so it would save time if I copy the old route to the new item.
