When Microsoft is replacing Master Planning engine with Planning Optimization engine, the sequence number has changed. The number sequence that we are seeing is generated on the server side of Planning optimization and, we can not change it to continue existing sequence in the system. This has impact to our business operations and we need to be able to continue the sequence in the system. We can't switch to Planning Optimization before this issue is address.
Can you please have the team review and make necessary changes so we can make the change to Planning Optimization.

We don't plan to introduce user controlled planned order number sequence for Planning Optimization, as this is controlled by the service for performance reasons. If there are specific business scenarios that currently depend on the planned order number, then please include these - so that we can try to find other solutions for this.
