Not everybody is interested in automatic disabling of the POS's. It would be a more relevant to measure when to disable based on inactive time. E.g. if a POS hasn't been active for 180 days disable it instead of having us reactivate in a given frequency.
Comments
Our company experienced an outage for all regions retail stores due to this timeout. We would also like the ability to Disable or Change the timeout duration for this token.

We've just got outage in weekend because of this configuration. Can MS provide a solution for this. Configuration change in HQ, or additional parameter while installing HWS to adjust it, or by default use 365 days instead of 180 if using this only with inactive POS not possible.

This really affected us at first when all the registers got deactivated in an instant cos the token expired :(

Great suggestion. Just assume you had a big bang go live for 500 stores. On the first anniversary none of the users not able to use the POS cos the token expired :O.
