There is a possibility that the sales Team can take orders for Items that are available in Inventory. However, the warehouse employee is not sending the goods against the warehouse shipment if the goods are found to be damaged or if the item has been reserved for another order.

The current option is to delete the warehouse shipment once all the other items in the order are shipped and invoiced.


However, this reduces the visibility of the no. of quantities that were short-closed for internal reasons and the company isn't able to figure out the opportunity loss of sales.

Additionally, companies want to keep track of items for which they have orders but they were unable to send them due to poor supply chain planning.
