We use Registration IDs to record VAT ID on Vendors and Customers.
Then, we attach the VAT ID on the Vendor (or Customer) form.
When using this way of recording the VAT ID, unfortunately, we are not able to find the VAT ID when searching on Tax exempt number search feature, which is available on Vendor and Customer forms.
