When Purchase Order appears on pending assets form, it shows total quantity of Purchase Order.  This functionality works fine when a whole purchase order line quantity is received. However, when partial quantities are received from a purchase order and at the time of creating assets from pending assets D365FO creates asset records for all the purchase order line quantities. For those outstanding quantities of purchase order, the assets created will not have any serial numbers.   There is a dimension display function to show the inventory dimensions (serial number) and even if serial number is selected, lines are not getting divided in multiple lines serial number wise (same as functionality available in on-hand form, transactions etc.) and serial number is showing blank in pending assets page.

It would be great if the pending assets page could show the records with split up (received) quantities rather than showing line quantities. We are seeking some advice from Microsoft D365FO asset management module experts on this issue. Kindly let us know if any setup is missing or this functionality is not available at this stage or is there any development or fixes in roadmap. Thank you.
