On a Dashboard, even if we select "Display label on the Dashboard" for a List Component - the Label is not displayed on the Dashboard
- Go to Settings ->Customization -Customize the system-> Dashboard -> Open Sales dashboard or create a new one
- Double click on Activities grid/charts (for Example) -> Edit the properties ->> Check the box for "Display Label on the Dashboard"
- Name the label Activity1234 (for ex)
- We checked on the Dashboard (Go to Sales -> Dashboard->From the view select Sales Dashboard)
- We are not able to find any label on the Dashboard though we have selected "Display Label on the Dashboard"

Annoyingly, you have to also show the view selector. The "label" is then shown as an infotip when you roll over this header area above the list. (You can of course limit the selection of views to only a single one). If the view selector is not shown, then this header area is not displayed, so there is nowhere to put the label.

Still a problem that is really annoying. I don't see the utility in preventing a custom label on a chart. This could be prevented by default if necessary, but I think it adds more clarity to the chart if this is enabled.
