I created a new segment and gave it a name "Contacts in Charlotte NC". When I clicked the "Save" button, I got a plugin error "Error caused by ISV code" with the stack trace below. There was also a notification which I expanded and it said that the name of the segment cannot contain spaces or special characters. I removed the spaces and was able to save the segment.

The field should allow spaces in the segment name so that they are more user friendly, and the plugin that fires when the Segment record is created should handle this kind of error since there is a notification in the UI for it.
