Record templates for [Released Products] are not working correctly in Dynamics 365.

We have many record templates to assist with creating new products.

The templates, missing important data fields such as Product Variants, Product Categories and Retail Category are missing data in the template.


I will appreciate if you look into my request and resolved it in the new update

Thanks for your idea! If it gets voted, we will consider adding more fields to the product templates. 

Note you can also use the release policy that includes release product templates to default many fields in the released product. This comes available when enabling the engineering change management configuration key.
