Allow lookup filtering between Parent account and Contact

Hi, 
I have found out that it is not possible to filter by own records (show only my records checkbox), when trying to add a Parent Account to an already existing Contact. 

This action is possible when creating a Contact and also on other entities. This should also be possible on already existing Contacts. 

Field I am referring to is  - parentcustomerid.
