We have moved products over to obsolete status, but more than once the team have selected an obsolete item by mistake.

While the obvious business process would be that the technical team know the item is obsolete or replaced it would be good to either restrict the search / have the status in the dropdown or block input at BOM/Formula, same as blocking sales/purchase etc.
