Currently, this functionality automatically ships non-inventoried products and services that are in an order, but without taking into account whether the quantity to ship field is filled or not.

I think it would be more functional if it registered the automatic shipment of these types of products, but only those that have the quantity to be shipped filled in and for the number of units that have been entered.

Instead of sending all non-inventoried items or services in the order, when the first shipment of other inventoriable products is created.

And it may happen that in the same order there are several inventory items that have a different rate associated with them, and depending on when these inventory items are shipped, it is necessary to only ship the non-inventory item or service to invoice only that part and leave the rest pending shipment
