Dual Write Connector Issue between D365 Sales and D365F&SCM:

After investigating this issue with my team, and being able to reproduce it successfully in our test environment, we can confirm that this happens on a standard map.

The address field is single line in CE, and multiline in FO.

We escalated this discussion with our Product group and they investigated the issue and found this behavior to be by design, let me explain why.

As FO and CE are two different products there will be differences, for instance the Country field is a lookup in CE and a text field in FO, and this is also by design.

We understand that you have a business requirement to have the address field multiline text in CE , but for now at least our PG team does not have any plans to change that.

You can check if there is a business need for other customers to have the Address field in CE as multiline text, and thus raise awareness for our Pg team that it might be a good design change by creating an idea on our experience portal : Ideas (dynamics.com)
