When running "Create depreciation proposal" all assets that were migrated with underscore in the Fixed asset number (i.e. AA_1234) are skipped. Depreciation is only created for other assets. If these assets (with underscore) are specified in the Fixed asset number filter then depreciation will be calculated.

"Create depreciation proposal" should calculate depreciation also for such assets, whithout having to specifically filter them.
