In AX2012 we were able to setup the outside grid of the AX client based on Legal Entity to give users a better visual difference. It does not appear that this is available to do in D365. Can this be added or some other method that is much more visible and easily configured? We are going to have 8 active entities and many corporate personnel moving between them.

It is a good idea, but we use the different color themes to mark the different environments, Production, Sandbox, developers environments. In such a case, could you have something to mark the environment and something to mark the legal entity?

As a workaround, you may use the following Chrome extension
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/urlcolors/jjccpcminoppplpmcfghflolejbdkekm
Please find the example of settings for you
cmp=DAT, red
cmp=dat, red
cmp=cli, blue
cmp=clnj, green

Agree this would be extremely helpful, to allow customers to enforce a color theme per legal entity. A nice to have, would be to allow users to choose their own color as well to support their personalizations.

We have finance people who work with multiple entities and it would be extremely helpful if there was an obvious color difference in the form. This would prevent incorrect posting of journals for example (Since we use the same account numbers across entities, this is a real problem)

Consolidated finance and purchasing departments will access multiple entities and need a better visual queue for which one they are in rather than looking at the LE#

Discussions are underway around allowing themes to be chosen per legal entity (with the option to allow users to override the theme as desired).
