The Azure DevOps marketplace toolset "Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Tools" (https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=Dyn365FinOps.dynamics365-finops-tools) can be used to upload assets of most (all?) types to the Asset Library. This includes e-Commerce packages.
However, the task "Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS) Asset Deployment" included in this toolset does not support deploying e-Commerce packages to projects. Given there's a one-to-one mapping of e-Commerce sites to environments, this appears relatively straight forward, from the task UI perspective at least. That is, it appears that no changes would be required on the Azure DevOps task UI side.
Automating repetitive tasks saves our team many hours each week. This seems like low hanging fruit, and something we would make use of immediately.

This feature was added to the Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS) Asset Deployment task starting version 3.*, application release 10.0.27.
