It would be very nice to add visual infographics icons to most of (if not all) the action buttons on the Action Pane/Ribbon. At least for the most widely used UI forms that have a ribbon ex. sales orders, customers, products, production orders, projects etc. They can be small monochrome vector graphics like in modern O365 online applications (OneDrive, Outlook etc.) and those already in D365FO for things like New, Edit, Delete buttons.

It would really help most of the users to maintain some visual triggers, and explore the functionality in a quicker and more pleasant way. Overall, better utilizing the high bandwidth of the human visual cortex :)

So it should bring the best of how it is in Office 365 and was in AX 2012. If there is not enough space to display both the icon and the text, consider showing only the icon and the text pop-up on hovering over. Like in Office. Nothing surprisingly new, really ;)

Ideally, it should also get aligned with the other Dynamics 365 applications like Sales, Project Service Automation etc. And of course there must be a way to support this without compromising the system performance. Sounds like quite an effort to get it done properly, but it would be worth it!
