• The user is trying to review the dates and sometimes update the dates. From an overview perspective, this can occur from the grid view, but the dates are not calculated, since it is not following the logic of the normal process(reset vendor batch details).  
• Working under the FDA, IVDR, batch date control, and batch dates changes are seen as a strict process, where it is not allowed to have the ability to change dates. Many employees may view the dates, but only a handful is allowed to change. Having fields that are generally available for change is not considered as good practice.
