Currently, to send data to product metafields from BC to Shopify, you need to manually get the metafield definitions for each product individually and manual enter all the values in the corresponding metafield table created for that item.

If you store has even hundreds of items, this can become very tedious and an administrative nightmare.

My suggestion is that the metafield data, specifically for products, are defined for all products. BC allows for use to customize and add fields as we please as well through extensions. If the metafields in shopify are universal for all item in that store then BC should allow use to manage it universally for all shopify products to be uploaded. This can be done by creating actions on the product, customer etc. page and mapping the metafields for all the products univerally.

Additionally, mapping tables can be created to map fields in BC to metafields in shopify to automatically sync data.

This would make dealing with shopify metafields through business central much easier.
