Excel Imports occasionally fail at random. While I can understand this as acceptable for Admin facing functions, this kind of unreliability should under no circumstances affect user facing functions. If it fails in between, the user would loose the updated data.

This should be improvised and the failures or hung issues should be minimise and the Excel Online should be capable to restore / modify the data automatically.

I find it totally unacceptable that Microsoft would knowingly allow this flaw and wash their hands of all responsibility by just putting in documentation It breaks sometimes and ignores all the work youve done. In a case I experienced it shook confidence in the system as back end processes were much less trusted by end users as they had these imports just fail, losing significant work, and this massively affected user opinion of the system. I was forced to minimise automation within the system as it was no longer considered reliable. Obviously I knew that it was limited to Excel Online, but less informed decision makers didnt accept this. This obviously devalues the system and directly affects my clients opinion of me, which I do not appreciate.
