Give an option to remove inactive accounts from the look ups.

You should be able to do this within GP today

When you’re in the Accounts lookup window (e.g., from Cards ➜ Financial ➜ Account, or from a GL transaction):

  1. Open the Account Lookup (click the magnifying glass).
  2. In the lookup window, select View (or click the Filter/Advanced icon depending on your GP version).
  3. Choose Restrictions (or Filter) and add a condition:
    Status = Active (or uncheck Include Inactive if present).
  4. Apply the filter.
    → This removes inactive accounts for that lookup session.
