Currently, a web visit is only assigned to a known contact if they have previously received an email. In the current version, it is not possible to uniquely identify a visitor and track their further web interactions after a form submission unless they have received an email beforehand.

Proposed Enhancement: The idea is that after successfully submitting a form, the visitor becomes unique. From this point onward, all further web interactions should be assigned to this identified visitor.

Additionally, the visit should also be registered at the level of the respective form when a visitor, after a previous submission, visits another form. This enables a more precise analysis of user interactions with various forms.

Exclusions: The web tracking code snippet remains unchanged and is not part of the proposed solution.

Expected Benefits:

  • Improved tracking of visitors after form submission
  • Enhanced data quality in web analytics
  • More precise insights into the behavior of users interacting with multiple forms
  • No longer dependent on a previously received email for web tracking

This enhancement would close the gap in the current tracking logic and allow for a better connection between form interactions and further web activities.
