When a company name has spaces at the beginning or end the migration will not succeed.

Before starting the migration to Business Central 16 from an on premise database a check should be made whether the company name contains spaces at the beginning and / or end.

If the user gets an error for this issue for a specific company to be migrated, a suggestion for the company name to be used can be confirmed by the user and after acceptance of the user for this suggestion, the migration of the selected companies can be executed.

If the user doesn’t accept the suggestion of the new company name then the process of migration should be cancelled. After making a manual change of the company name without spaces the migration can be started again without a problem.
