We found System doesn’t respect the flushing method “Pick + Forward” when a location with Directed Put-Away and Pick is used on the production order.

For example, if I create a Released Production Order, and set the Source item as Manual, components as pick + forward. Then set the Location code on the prod order as White, which has enabled Directed Put-Away and Pick. If I click on refresh Production Order, I will get an error message said: Qty. Picked (Base) must not be 0 in Prod. Order Component Status='Released',Prod. Order No.='101001',Prod. Order Line No.='10000',Line No.='10000'.

The expectation is that the system will post the consumption of the components when the Warehouse Pick is registered but this is not what happens. System tries and posts the consumption at the time of refresh even though the components haven’t been picked.

And I tried, click on Create warehouse pick on the Release Production order, it will show error said I can't create a pick. So, on the one hand, system don't let me create a pick, on the other hand, the error said the Qty. Picked can't be 0. Is this kind of weird? Hope Microsoft can resolve this issue soon!
