Adding grid columns outside default view without customization

It would be great if we can extend grids with columns outside the default view, without the need to customize a form.

For example extending the Open Invoices grid with specific fields/columns in the Customer table which are not default added to the grid column list.

This could be done like joining a table in the Advanced query functionality.

Along the same lines...There needs to be a cross available from the PO Requisition to the PO Number.

Can the PO Number field be included in the PO Requisition Grid added field choices, and vise versa. Can the PO Requisition number field be included in the All Purchase Order grid added field choice or allow the user to make the simple link/join?
