I can add tables in an advanced filter and can sort or filter by the fields in the other tables.
If I could only show the fields on the grid it would solve many many problems.

this is a limitation of the datasource that is driving the display of the grid. I would like to hear Microsoft's response, but I suspect this would be a major change to the entire coding framework.
