User A shared some views as read-only with User B. User B no longer needs those views. User A is no longer with the company (so user B can't just ask user A to "unshare" them). We need a way as admins to be able to remove those views for User B that user A shared with them.
FYI User A (no longer with the company) doesn’t have an Active Directory ID. I understand that the “normal” workaround is to re-enable them in Active directory, give a new Password, an admin signs in as that user and deletes the views. That won’t work with no AD ID.
I also tried XRM Toolbox “Personal View Manager” tool and that won’t work either – again because of no AD ID. It prompts me saying “user has to be activated as non-interactive and assigned a role”. I clicked “ok” but then it said it CAN’T proceed because of no AD ID.
Seems there should be a way - not only is this a pain in the neck for User B to have these "in the way" but also those views are taking up wasted storage space.
