We have had a request from many customer to have extended text and/or comments related to a customer/item or vendor/item combination (Cross reference table).
It would be very beneficial if extended text could be added to the specific cross references to add comments on a sales order or to add comments to a sales line (shipping / packaging instructions, unique labeling requirements, quality inspection notes, etc.).
This should be fairly simple functionality to add by building on the existing tables, pages and codeunits.
