After working with Dynamics 365 for 2+ years I have continually run into the inability to limit a sub area in the site map by role (or ever better JavaScript). The current model (by Entity and permissions) is not always sufficient and lacks the flexibility I need for my application.
I recommend adding the ability to restrict the sub areas to Security Role and JavaScript (as the Ribbon buttons can)

we are grateul for this input. the Cusomer insigthts team would love to consider this idea but optimally it should receive more votes first. we will make sure to track it over time and update on any change to it's status.
