Salesperson code field acts differently depending on how you create sales documents. From the customer card you can start a sales order and it auto fills the salesperson code and stays. but from home screen if you start a sales document, it will auto fill the salesperson code but when you input the customer number, the salesperson disappears. We were using this filed to track who created sales docs but at some this year it changed to where this filed is not automated so we had to start using an extension (Created by). The salesperson field should be automatic so sales people don't have to remember to input they are the user who created the document. This same issue is happening to purchaser code. the moment you input the vendor it erases the purchaser code. but it wasn't like this in the past. would be nice for the salesperson code and purchaser code to stay unless manually changed.
