Currently, in Dynamics 365 Finance, we have successfully configured the Vendor Tax 1099 settings to display the vendor’s "Doing Business As" (DBA) name instead of the main vendor name on the "Tax 1099 " setup. However, this adjustment does not extend to the "Tax 1099 Detail Report," where only the main vendor name is displayed.

For vendors who operate under a DBA name, displaying the DBA name on the "Tax 1099 Detail Report" is crucial for accurate documentation and reporting. This enhancement would ensure consistency across tax reporting documents and align the report output with real-world business scenarios, benefiting Dynamics 365 users who need to report vendor transactions under DBA names.


Suggested Solution: Extend the current "Tax 1099 Print Option" report functionality to the "Tax 1099 Detail Report," allowing the DBA name to be displayed if configured in the Vendor Tax 1099 settings.


Benefit: This feature would improve the accuracy and relevance of tax reporting in Dynamics 365 for companies working with vendors under DBA names. It would also enhance the user experience by ensuring consistency across all 1099-related reports and minimize the need for manual adjustments or workarounds.
