In the Sales & Receivables setup, one can now set a field "Document Default Line Type". This sets the line type of when creating a new sales document.

We are looking to have a default for each new line. Now the system copies the type of the previous line. Most of our items have a comment linked to it which is inserted in the document. So as a result of this, the value of the previous line is "Comment" and this needs to be changed to "Item" by the user for every new line.


Having a default value for the "Line Type" which is applied when creating a new line would solve this.
