Currently after searching for a record using the search functionality and after getting the results view, this results view may show several records, many times there is no enough information on the view to know the exact record that you are looking for, so we need to open each record to get more details. After opening one record, and closing it to review the next, the search results are lost, having to perform the search again. This cause lost time and need to query again for the same results. WE would like to have those result to be kept on the view until you manually clear the search or select another view.
