Problem:
The purchase of gift card results in a credit to the Gift Card Account No. specified on the Shop card. When the gift card is redeemed, no debit to the Gift Card Account is created; this creates the need for manual General Ledger journals.
Solution:
The transaction information imported from the Shopify order includes details of gift card redemption and updates the gift card details in Business Central, so generate a debit General Ledger journal for the Gift Card Account.
