Effective date of an Engineering Product Version - ECM

Today if I work with an Engineering Product with 2 versions:

V1: Active until the end of month;

V2: Active from the next month;


we are not able to create a sales order line for the V2 until the 1st day of next month because the system is not designed to check the “Requested ship date” field for the Sales order line, but only the System date.


We would like that the system consider the effective validate date of the Version in the transaction.
