We are raising this Idea on behalf of our customer who is having issue with Sales Quote and Price list.

The customer created quote with their default price list.

Then customer adds the product and price in the quote and saves it.

 The product and price are visible correct which are added initially.

When customer changes the price of the product in the pricelist and saves it.

 The changed price is reflected in the quote even if it already has initially added price. But when customer activates the quote and tries to change the price again from the price list. The price remains unchanged this time in the quote.

The customer wants to lock the price of product, which was added initially in the draft stage only, so that the price which is additionally in the quote should not be changed even if someone try to change it from the price list, because after generating the quote, they need to send it to higher management for approval before finally activating it and sharing.

This is their use case and they want to implemented soon.
