It would be great if D365 F&SCM had support for exporting large volumes of sales tax data similar to the report Tax/Sales tax reports/Sales tax specification by ledger transaction.

These transactions are used for auditing purposes and legal requirements and when the volumes of transactions become large, like several hundred thousands transactions for a month, the report cannot generate this result. The file becomes too large for the system and the load on the system is too large.

The report supports complex business logic to generate the information from the normalised database structure and as such it would require substantial duplication of logic to simply export the tables and compile the information in an external system (like data warehouse/BI solution).

The workaround is to generate the report in small intervals but that means generating the report daily/bi-daily and the compile the results into a data warehouse/file structure and with many large volume legal entities this is cumbersome.

So we request a data entity for sales tax transactions, similar to the information that is supported by the report TaxSpecPerLedgerTrans and the table TaxSpecPerLedgerTransTmp that we can use to export the data to a data warehouse solution to review the data in an external system.
