The maximum time frame on an interactive dashboard is a Quarter. This is a very strict limitation. There's also no way for the user to know what time frame they're looking at unless you name the name the dashboard appropriately. Such as "Cases this Quarter". If they're very observant they will see the tiny text that says it's "filtered", but I'm not sure how that helps. We are forced to use classic dashboard which can use view when no restrictions.
